"I grew up as a competitive gymnast and then went on to be a collegiate pole vaulter. Exercise, specifically weight training, was always prioritized in my life. Fast forward a few years and a few kids later, my priorities were a stark contrast from my high-school and college years. I had a full time job, volunteer responsibilities, a husband, and kids that all demanded 100% of my attention. I wasn’t active and my eating habits, that developed as a teenager lifting weights almost daily, were no longer sustainable for me. I was in a horrible spiral of always “doing stuff”, never having a chance to take a breath or relax, but also never making any progress. I was tired and stressed and realized that none of the things important to me were getting my 100% because I was not at my best.
Enter Personal Coaching. Beth walked me through this program with small common sense changes to my daily life. All things you know you should do but maybe don’t know HOW to do. I am not now and have not been “following a diet plan” or doing a “fitness challenge”, I have been living my life and learning how to do it better, for me. Having a whole year to develop and implement new habits, I know my changes are sustainable.
Today I am a wife and a mother and an engineer. I volunteer at my church and with Scouts. I am happy and healthy and strong. I treat my body like the temple for God that it is! “
